Born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, Anthony Utama is an ambitious young singer who is already making waves in the music industry. In his short career, Anthony has performed at numerous prestigious events. He has participated in Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park on a number of occasions, performed at Miss Universe NZ, the NZ Magazine Awards and played the role of Troy in the stage show of Disney’s High School Musical which played at the Civic Theatre. He also sang as the support act to International singing sensation Margaret Keys’ at her album launch at the Bruce Mason Centre.
He has had the privilege of sharing the stage with NZ Music Legends such as Ray Woolfe, Suzanne Lynch, Eddie Low and Gray Bartlett, and has been rapidly growing his fanbase within his home of the Auckland region and throughout New Zealand.
Anthony was lucky enough to win the ‘Find A Star’ Competition on TVNZ’s Good Morning Show in June 2009. Anthony is now working on his first album. Watch this space!
